07 July, 2020 - Topaz Farm & Missing You An Awful Lot
Dear, Mom -
Today was more interesting than many days have been recently. I was able to take a trip out to Topaz Farm with my client and friend Bob. Out at the farm, they have a little goat named Bob so I thought it would be fun to take Bob out to see Bob. Hahaha. Problem is, we got out there and there were about 5 goats and I’m not quite sure who was who. I knew who my Bob the human man was, but not Bob the Goat. Oh, well. Just gives me an excuse to go out there again and figure it out. It’s a beautiful place.

Bob and walked around the farm for a bit, but the rain started in and it was getting on to be lunch time. We took the drive back leisurely and paid more attention to the interesting things on the side of the road. It ended up being a nice trip and Bob was very pleased. He told me it was ‘heroic’! Such a nice man, that Bob. When Bob and I returned back to his son Philippe’s house, he was waiting with sandwiches for us. We had a nice lunch and then we parted ways and I went home to go see Birgit.
All was well at Birgit’s, so I went home and took Elsa for a short walk to stretch her legs. I took some more pictures of flowers while on our walk.

I really miss you lots, Mom. Sometimes I get overwhelmed with how much of a void there is without being able to see you. We will just keeping hoping we will be able to get together soon. I love you very much as well. And I believe will be talking to you today. YAY!!! See you soon——Sally
