21 October, 2020 - Got My New Glasses Back & A Fiasco of Err(ors)ands
Dear, Mom -
Ah. What a lovely day it was weather wise. It was pretty with the sun shining. When I walked Elsa this morning, we had just turned back towards the house and it started to sprinkle rain. I was glad it didn’t rain hard as I only had my sweatshirt on and did not want to get soaked. As we were walking, I came across this super heroine hiding in the bushes.
Super Girl in the bushes. A watchful eye from afar.
It is kind of funny what people will leave outside their houses, or a stranger will stick somewhere unexpected. I come across weird stuff all the time. Maybe I should start documenting more of it? It is like a treasure hunt in a strange way. A treasure that you don’t know that you are looking for. I just like to take pictures of things and leave them. One time, I was walking through Pier Park and someone left a little troll in the indentation at the end of a log. I took a picture and shared it with you, but it was a while ago. That was another one that made me smile to myself. It stayed in the same place for a long time then one day *POOF* it was gone.

Today I spent the afternoon with Gale. He needed to go to the foot doctor and then to his doctor for a B12 shot. I did some research and found out that if you lack in the vitamin B12, it can have adverse effects on the brain. It can cause memory loss, confusion, sleep disturbances. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it helps because all of these things have happened since he went off his B12 injections last February. While I was with Gale, he was pretty low energy and just a touch grumpy. He was a bit more irritable at the foot doctor than normal and said he didn’t want to go back again. Then I took him to his doctor visit. I took him to the complete wrong place. By about 2 or 3 miles wrong. So, we had to pack up and get back in the car and ended up being about 45 minutes late. Gale doesn’t get around very well anymore, so I felt especially bad for having him get in and out of the car repeatedly. I didn’t charge him for some of my time because it was my fault for the mistakes I made.
The good news is that after my our appointments were done and I took Gale home, I had just enough time to go pick up my new glasses! Not too shabby, eh? At least I can see now! Now I can read all the books!I have a book on mountaineering so that I can learn about weather patterns, orienteering, and knot tying. I have books on outdoor survival. I have a book called “Happy” by my most favorite boy Derren Brown that I have been waiting to read. All the things I can now see. Yay!!!!
I guess there isn’t any topping that gorgeous face up there, so I better stop while I’m “a head”. Ha. Get it. It’s a picture of my head. Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha.
Here are a couple more pics I took today. I hope you enjoy them. I love you very much and we will talk super soon. I can’t wait!!!
