15 October, 2020 - Tired Girl & Tomorrow

 Dear, Mom -

Hmm. I’m sitting here trying to figure out what to type to you for tonight’s letter. My brain is tired. My day just seemed quite ordinary and hum drum in compared to stories about camping and family historical stuff that I’ve done in the past.

I know when I get up in the morning I will be walking Elsa over to Pier Park because I found out there are two geocaches in the park and I’d try to see if I can find them on my own, but with Elsa. It sounds like one of the caches may be stuffed down an old tree stump, or up in the tree. If that is right, then there’s where they will stay. This is the weekend when there is a geocache contest down at the coast. I would love to go and participate. I tried to get my friends into it so it would be something we could do outside and 6 ft apart. I love a treasure hunt and this is definitely that. Anyway, that is something to look forward to in the am.

It looked pretty with the sun coming through onto the petals.

Tomorrow after work, I am going to go over to Kim and Ward’s house and prune their fig color. I was going to last weekend, but it was raining too hard. I think it is supposed to be another cloudy day with some sunny patches. I hope so. I’m not ready for the gloom of winter.

I’m sorry. I’m quite tired and honestly dozing a bit. I really love you a lot, Mom and miss sitting and talking with you in person. I can’t wait for those days to come back. Fingers crossed it will be soon!
Hang in there and I will, too. I’m sending you a great big hug and kiss. MWAH
