23 April, 2020 - Utter Joy and Smiles!
It was absolutely the BEST day today! Do you know why? Because I got to see your sweet face and talk to you over the video chat! I was so elated to see you. To be able to talk to you in real time and feel more like I am there was such a nice change of pace. My favorite part is when you smiled so big!
It was so nice of Sandahl to guide us through our chat and help where it was needed. She made the whole process very enjoyable. I am glad she is now on the staff at your place.
I will ask if I can bring you cookies. I will also order you some more snack Belvita cookies, too. I will get you the peanut butter and chocolate ones. They are really yummy.
Today, I took a short walk with Bob and saw some very pretty flowers. We walked in a neighborhood not far from where Bob lives and we had never walked there before. The roads went at odd angles and the property lines were all over the place, but it was a really nice area. Here are some flowers that we saw:There were some lovely multicolored pansies,
Some very, fluffy, pink cherrie blossoms,
An amazing orchid,
Feiry, feathery tulips &
A very full Japanese wisteria,
I just love all the colors that are coming out right now. Every neighborhood has a palette of color. Some of the colors are so vibrant you feel like you can dip your brush in them and paint a picture.
Birgit would like me to send you pictures of Paula's garden. She has lovely peonies and a couple varitites of very strange clematis. Paula is a master gardener, so everything in her garden is beautiful :)
I also was able to talk to Kim and Ward today. Kim is my best friend of over 30 years. She is Rick and Nella's daughter, too. Do you remember when Nella would come over and take painting lessons from you? I remember she brought Kim once since we were the same age. We had not met before because Kim lived rural enough to go to the country school, where as I went to the city school. I also remember Kim and I having soda from bottles and Kim dropped hers on the floor. That is the only thing I remember from that evening. Ha ha. Here is a picture I took of Ward, Millie the Cat, and Kim tonight when I video chatted with them. It turned out so cute!
