27 August, 2020 - Under the Weather & Have a GREAT Weekend

Dear, Mom -

I am indeed a bit under the weather. This will be the shortest letter I’ve written as I am ready for bed and looking forward to sleeping. I am hoping it will make me feel better and repair whatever is ailing me over the night. I feel like I am getting the ‘end of summer cold’. It is weird since I were a mask out and haven’t, to my knowledge, been around anyone else with a cold. It could also be me allergies as the fall starts dropping brittle leaves and the dust blows in the wind. Regardless, I am going to take care of myself as best as I can over the weekend to rest and heal up.

I hope you have a lovely day. It looks like my letters may be piling up a bit, so this one being shorter is okay. I will try not to beat myself up about it since I am not at my best today.

These are my neighbors pumpkins. They grow HUGE pumpkins every year. We aren’t even in September yet and these two pumpkins are ready for carving. The funny thing is they will just keep growing until they are about three times this size by October. They are award winning pumpkins. Last year, they only had one and it was so big you could have climbed inside it once it was carved out. It is probably the most fun just to watch them grow overtime and get so big. I just thought I would share because I will take more pictures in the future to compare their size.
I found one other flower today that I had not taken a picture of. A Four O’Clock Flower. Dainty!

I love you and miss you lots and lots, Momma. I’m sending you a big hug and a big smooch. Please know that I am thinking about you often. I will talk with you soon! All My Love, —-Sally Ann✨❤️✨
