30 October, 2020 - The Weekend & Once in a Blue Moon...
Dear, Mom -
Thank goodness it is the weekend! I was ready for it on Monday. 😛
I've worked quite a bit the last few days. On top of having a bad knee, to boot. I think I am past worn out. I am going to try to get to bed pretty soon. I guess I am going to have to give in next week and go see the doctor about my durn knee. For some reason it doesn't seem to be getting better like the last time it happened. I'm not too worried about it. As long as it gets better, I won't complain about it anymore.
Tomorrow is an actual Blue Moon. I guess whenever there is a full moon on Halloween it is always called a Blue Moon. The next Blue Moon we will have will be in 2023. This makes me understand the meaning of the saying, "It only happens once in a Blue Moon". It really is something that is infrequent. The next one after the year 2023 isn't until 2039! Too bad more people won't be out to enjoy it!
When I get up tomorrow, I need to gather up the boxes around this place that are going to Goodwill and get them delivered. I have to put our old, broken electrical things together and take them to a recycle center for electronics. At some point, I'm going to need to make a dump run, too. It never ends. I'm just glad to be scaling down on my belongings. It's freeing.
I had a pretty good letter to you last night. It was a nice length. With that, I am going to say "Good Day, to You". I hope your day is lovely and you have a nice conversation with your friends.
