13 November, 2020 - Part 1& 2: P.M/A.M. & It’s the Weekend

 Dear, Mom -

I hope your day has been pleasant so far. I am also hopeful that you have enough to keep you busy throughout your day. I know it is hard, but you are strong, so do your best and time will fly! I am going into the weekend myself, slightly bored after not being able to get the things I wanted to do done. I was not feeling especially well the last few days and the weather has been on again/off again nice. All the factors come into play constructing the way our day will eventually go, not necessarily the way we’d hoped.

I think I will write tonight’s letter a little differently. I am going to write half now, and the other half in the morning. I am tired and looking forward to bed. I always write these letters at night, but I know you won’t get this until at least a couple of days from now, so if I type in half in the p.m. and half in the a.m., it won’t really matter. Letting you know that I am thinking about you at all times of the day is the point. That, and that I miss you!

I will bid you a goodnight for now, Mom. I love you and sweet dreams!

Me giving you the thumbs up!

Part 2:
Here it is. The morning of the 14th.  Don’t worry. I will still type you a letter tonight as well. I wasn’t able to get up to much this morning. I needed to go to the store, but the first store I went to was shut down because the power had gone out on the block. I figured I would go ahead and drive to the same store, but in a different location. The line to get into that store was insanely long...out in the rain. No thank you. The one thing I needed to get was also at a store downtown, but I was right off the freeway and it only takes an additional 10 minutes to get there, so I went down town and was successful in picking up what I needed. Plus there was a pet store down there and I was able to pick up something for Elsa to chew on.

Now, I am considering taking a nap. I had intended to rearrange the bedroom so my head isn’t right by the window. I may save that for tomorrow, though. I’m just not quite up to the commitment today.

Ok. I will write you again tonight. I think I will go make stew instead. I love you very very very much. Hopefully we will be able to talk on Sunday, but if not, Monday for sure. Big hug and a big kiss. Holly, Elsa the dog, Birgit, Paula, Philippe, and Bob all send their biggest hugs and hellos, too.

๐Ÿค—✨❤️Write to you later, Mom. Your Daughter, —-Sally❤️✨๐Ÿค—
